Natural History Outreach Handmade Bookmaking
Bound By Nature: Eco-printing and Bookmaking
A two-day workshop led by fibre artist Nora Ready
Inviting you to explore the quiet beauty of the land through foraged materials and handmade bookmaking.
On Day 1, we’ll walk the land together, gathering local foliage and learning the bundle-and-steam method of eco printing.
Day 2, we’ll use a simple slip-knot binding technique to craft hand-bound booklets, with the option to embellish your prints and bindings using curated materials.
Each creation becomes a reflection of place, season, and your own measured creative practice.
No experience is needed and all supplies are provided.
Just bring an apron, rubber gloves, and a spirit of curiosity.
Workshop Hours:
Saturday 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Spots are limited & Pre-Registration is required.
