Come down to stunning Rosemuir Farm for the launch of the 2024 Hornby Festival. This year the Festival opens from the Mainstage with a Traditional Pentlatch Welcome Ceremony with Elder Barb Whyte (Billy), Pentlatch knowledge keeper and member of the K’ómoks Nation. Ticket holders are welcome to stay on for the evening performance, and other patrons can choose to purchase a ticket for the evening event at that point if they wish to stay for the show.

Elder Barb has grown up learning about the ocean and watching it change. An expert in traditional plant medicine, Elder Barb shares her in-depth knowledge of our changing ocean in this newly prepared presentation. Come join in
