Strachan Valley Farm

Is located on the southern slope of Mount Geoffrey and surrounded by parkland boasting walking, hiking and biking trails that explore the valley’s beautiful and diverse landscape.

This century old farm is regeneratively farmed to preserve and enhance the biodiversity of the area while supporting local food security with organically grown food. The farm is a mix of pasture, garden, orchard, forest and wetlands that provide vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey, wool and lamb. Vegetables, eggs and honey are seasonally available at the farm gate, the Hornby Island Farmers’ Market and through our weekly island delivery.

Come up to ‘the farm at the end of the road’ – explore the parkland trails and pick up locally grown produce and eggs from our farmgate stand.
