What is sound healing?

Working from the basic premise of Traditional Chinese Medicine; that disease arises as a result of blockages in the energetic body, sound healing works by the application of sound, via the voice, tuning forks, singing bowls, gongs, percussion, etc. to shift these energy blocks and remind the mindbodyspirit of its naturally harmonious flow. Tuning forks have a coherent wave form that works a bit like a comb, finding the tangles and gently easing them out, the metal singing bowls and percussive instruments create a lot of dissonant, chaotic wave forms that act a bit more like, I don’t know, a scrubbing brush?? that clears out the crud leaving you feeling more free, fluid and essential.
