The Festival: Opening Reception

FREECome down to beautiful Rosemuir Farm for the launch of the 2023 Hornby Festival.
Elder Barb Whyte (Billy), knowledge keeper and member of the K’ómoks Nation, will open the festival with a traditional Pentlatch Welcome Ceremony. We will introduce you to our Indigenous Artists in Residence who will be working and running workshops at the Hornby Community Hall throughout the festival.
Beverages and small finger food appetizers will be served at this event. The ticket holders will be allowed to stay on for the evening performance, and other patrons can choose to purchase a ticket for the evening event at that point.
