The Winter Studio Tour returns for a single, distinctive day — inviting visitors to wander past homes and through gardens into the working studios of Hornby’s remarkable artist residents. With fewer studios participating in the quieter months, this one-day format offers a curated, easy-to-explore route filled with quality stops and seasonal charm.
Visitors can enjoy the behind-the-scenes experience of seeing where the island’s artists work and live, discovering new pieces, and connecting with the creative spirit that thrives here year-round.
The Winter Studio Tour is part of Hornby Island’s rich seasonal offerings — from local craft fairs and events at the Hall to gatherings across the island that celebrate the art of handmade giving.
It’s the perfect time to discover exquisite, local, one-of-a-kind creations, and even make a day trip later in the season to neighbouring Denman’s Christmas Market in early December.
