A professional busker for many years, based out of Victoria, BC, Ted Tanner now makes his home on our beautiful Hornby Island. Ted has honed the craft of a well delivered stripped down acoustic song on the streets, stages and living rooms of North America, Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and Australia. In 2011, seeking a more rural home base, Ted gravitated toward our very musical and creative community where he is involved in many musical projects, including Hornby’s own popular reggae, roots band, The Rudiments. Musical influences and inspiration include artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Cockburn, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Bob Marley and The Beatles.
