- Where to find my art: At my home studio
I was born in Iran and grew up on colourful Persian carpet. I love to paint but my canvass is the clay vessel. My work includes one of a kind, hand built, burnished smoke fired ornamental vessels and also high fired, glazed tableware pottery. Nature is my inspiration. Hornby natural uniqueness feed my soul and my inspiration. I love working with clay and love to transform it to shapes and colors. I like making vessels that people can eat and drink from. Creating unique colors and forms is the driving force for my work.
My home studio is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 5pm in July and August, Fridays & Saturdays from 10am to 5pm in September – June. My work is also at the Hornby Island Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer.
