Kim is a singer-songwriter and poet who performs live shows that often weave songs, poems and storytelling. She won Vocalist of the Year at the 2015 Vancouver Island Music Awards and is one half of a folk duo called “little bridges”.

She received formal training as a photographer and her visual artwork often incorporates poetry alongside or within the images. Occasionally, she takes work as a wedding photographer for weddings on Hornby Island and the Comox Valley.

She also does commercial photography of other artists and artisans at work. Sometimes she teaches workshops and e-courses to songwriters, poets, photographers and creative seekers.
