Painting & Drawing

I am a folk artist; I have painted on stones, cards, mirrors, driftwood and everything I can. I came to Hornby Island in 1988. I painted on stones and sold my art at the Market for many years. In 2002, I painted a deck of cards, which I began to do readings with at the Market and the painting became a sideline as I could not do readings and sell at the same time. Recently I put out my shingle as a sign painter. I paint signs, murals, street signs, decorative graphics and inspirational mottos for business, home and garden. The island is my matrix and inspiration. I am a photographer as well and look at everything as a composition. I am self taught and always learning.
