Rachelle Chinnery grew up in Montreal, Quebec and has made her home on the West Coast since 1995. She moved to Hornby Island with her husband Doug to be closer to the ocean and live a quiet life. Kayaking expeditions off Vancouver Island’s western shores are the well source of inspiration for her sculptural and carved porcelain work.
