Angel-Blue is a Hornby Island artist who has been prolific in her creation of all things visual. From an early age she has designed costumes, created large scale paintings, built assemblages from nature, and illustrated her monthly published stories in The First Edition.
A joint exhibition with abstract expressionist Caroline James sparked an interest in the professional aspect of being an artist. Soon Angel-Blue created a line of cards that she has sold at ringside, the Farmer’s Market and at Weinberg’s Store in Buckley bay. Savvy business girl that she is, Angel-Blue always reinvests some of her profits in re-publishing her hot sellers, while always creating new designs along the way.
