This 700 sq ft cabin is a very special place and has been in the owners family for a long time. A cool, shady forested lot with a basic, but comfortable, cabin situated toward the back of the property.  Located in the desirable area of Anderson Drive, the property is an equal distance between Tribune Bay and Whaling Station Bay and located right across the road from the ocean.  There is beach access a short walk away.

From the moment you step onto the property you will feel relaxed and comfortable.  Set far back from the road, this modified A frame has everything a family will need.  The owners have recently installed new vinyl plank flooring and repainted the inside.  More pictures will be coming soon as all the updates are completed!

The home has one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and two bedrooms upstairs in the loft.  One with a queen bed and the other with a set of bunk beds and a single bed.  There is an excellent, inside composting toilet, in a separate room and a bathroom with tub and hand held shower and a sink.  There is also an outside shower.

Water is provided by drilled well and does smell a bit of sulfur, however it has been tested and is safe to wash dishes etc.  There is drinking water provided through a water dispenser.  You will be provided with two five galleon jugs of water and they can be refilled at the co-op gas station if you need.

The home is excellent for children with lots of areas to play outside.  The cabin comes with outdoor patio furniture, indoor and outdoor games, dvd player,  a skim board and two adult bikes.

In line with the water conservation efforts on the island, you are required to bring your own sheets, towels, and dishcloths.

Pets are permitted with prior approval ($100 pet fee per week will be required)

This home currently does not have internet access, although the owners have signed up for the new high speed internet that is coming to the island.  At the current time we can not promise that it will be installed for the summer season 2023.

High Season: $1700 per week.

Shoulder Season: $218 per night (minimum 3 night booking)

During the summer season, this is a weekly rental only with the check in and check out date on a Saturday. In the shoulder season shorter rentals (minimum 3 days stay) are considered.

The shoulder season runs from May 1 to mid June and after the September long weekend to the end of September. A cleaning fee of $100 will be added to any rental less than one week.

Applicable taxes are not included in the price and will be added at time of booking.

100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier.
