Welcome to Pine Tree Cottage
This bright, well-appointed cottage offers a peaceful Hornby Island getaway for up to six guests. Set on a large grassy property with a well-established fruit orchard, the home is clean, comfortable, and filled with natural light.
Just across the road are west-facing water views, with stunning sunsets each evening. A short stroll takes you to Phipps Point, one of Hornby’s favorite evening swimming spots.
Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms (one queen, two doubles) plus a daybed in the living room. The cottage is designed for simple living no Wi-Fi or TV making it a perfect place to slow down and reconnect. Cell service is available for those who want to stay lightly connected.
Guests enjoy access to a well and cistern system with drinking water provided. In keeping with local water stewardship practices, guests are asked to bring their own linens (sheets, towels, pillowcases, and duvet covers) whenever possible, with rentals available for an additional fee.
No pets, no barbecue, but plenty of charm, tranquility, and island character.

$2450 + 8% PST & 3% MRDT per week.
Check-in Friday at 4 pm and check-out Friday at 11 am.
Payment: E-transfer only, please.
To secure your dates, a deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking. All remaining summer rental fees are due 4 weeks before arrival. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be refunded if we can fill the time you’ve booked. There will be no refunds 30 days and closer to the date of arrival.
A $900 damage deposit refundable within a week after your stay is required 1 week before your visit.
