Welcome to Hornby Central – The Snug
Centrally located on Hornby Island, The Snug is a small cabin situation on 2.5 acres of private land.
The cabin is snuggly. One bedroom, an equipped galley kitchen, a bathroom (no toilet*), and a living area. *Enjoy a back-to-the-land experience with an outhouse instead of an indoor toilet.
There is a queen-sized hide-a-bed sofa in the living area of the cabin.
Also, a tent platform (bring your own tent)
The Snug has a washer and dryer.
Excellent high speed, fibre-optic internet (No t.v., no landline phone)

Land was contributed by the property owner for the Hornby Roadside Path Network. This path runs from the Coop Store to the Community Hall, and beyond. Meaning, the Community Hall, Farmers’ Market, School Playing Field, and Joe King Recreation Park are all a short walk away, in one direction. And the Coop Store, Ringside Market, Restaurants, and Fruit Stand Market are close by in the other direction. You can walk, or bike, to Tribune Bay Beach via that path and Shields Road.
Also, there is a stop for the Hornby Summer Bus at the Community Hall corner, which ensures easy access to it’s served route for our guests. (www.hornbybus.com).
The property offers privacy, without a neighbour in sight, but shared with birds and the occasional deer.
Enjoy the yard, with natural vegetation and rock gardens.
Bocce, horseshoes and badminton equipment are available for your use.
By prior arrangement, there is room for a tent for extra guests, or to bring a well-behaved dog.

50% downpayment is required to secure a booking. The balance is due by June 1st.
