Relax and rejuvenate at this unique and tranquil getaway on 7 beautiful acres. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the magnificent ocean view from the south facing oak meadow in front of the cabin. The cabin is located within a private fenced orchard in between the forest and meadow.
This cozy cabin is perfect for 2, however gentle pets and children are welcome, please request. Dogs must be leashed while outside of the fence (there are many deer).

Situated near the top of Mount Geoffrey, it’s just a brief walk up the road to access the island’s vast network of hiking and mountain biking trails. Located 3 km from Tribune Bay.

The cabin interior is open concept, and features stunning custom woodwork created on site by the owner. There is a queen bed, a kitchenette, a lazy boy couch, a small dining table, and a new indoor bathroom. Enjoy lounging on the sunny front deck or the shady back deck. There are several apple and plum trees, plus almond, fig, and grape. Feel free to pick fruit while in season.

The cabin water is collected via rain water catchment and pumped in from the cistern. Drinking and cooking water is provided (in bottles) from our tested well.

Mattress cover, duvet and pillows are provided. Due to water conservation efforts on the island, please bring your own linens, pillow cases, duvet cover, and towels. If preferred or necessary, we are happy to provide these items for a small extra fee.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside cabin
It is allowed only on the decks (with due care)

Heather and Chris were very friendly and welcoming. We accidentally showed up early and Heather was great to tell us where to go and what to do to kill time which was great! They gave us a tour of the cabin and to our surprise, Chris hand crafted it from wood from their property which was quite charming. The place was nice and clean with more than enough fridge space and cooking utensils. They were very friendly with our little dog and we very much appreciated them allowing her to stay with us.  10/10 would highly recommend Heather and Chris’ cabin. It was a lovely stay and we hope to return.

I loved my stay! The cabin is a true gem! I had quite the rainy weekend on Hornby so it was such a cozy place to read a book by the fire. The woodwork in the cabin is so unique and special. Heather was always responsive to any requests I had and very kind to myself and my dog. I loved how the cabin was a short 2 min walk to access the trails in Mount Geoffrey park. I would absolutely stay here again.
