Welcome to Douglas Cottage
Located less than a 3 minute drive from the ferry landing, this fully equipped, 2 bedroomed waterfront cabin, has a direct south-west view of the ocean, and a 180 degree deck. Walk straight down to the beach on a private switchback trail (not wheelchair accessible) to enjoy beach combing, paddle boarding or kayaking on your own quiet sandy beach.
Accommodation:
The cabin accommodates 4 adults comfortably plus two children. The cabin has one queen bedroom, a second bedroom with a double over single bunk bed, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Note: No linens supplied. Guests must bring their own sheets, towels, bath mat and dish towels. Cabin is stocked with pillows, duvets and blankets.
Pricing
2024 Pricing:
•The cabin operates as a short term rental from May through September with minimum one week stays.
•$1500/week plus PST 8% and MRDT 3%
($750 payable at time of booking, balance paid one month prior to stay)
•Refundable damage deposit of $200
•$180 cleaning fee
• No pets
• No smoking
• Arrivals and departures on Thursdays ( 4pm check in/ 10am check out.
Cancelation policy:
Full refund of deposit up to 90 days before stay, 50% refund of deposit up to 60 days before stay. No refunds after 60 days prior to stay.
