ABOVE TIDE WATERFRONT COTTAGE
This well-maintained, wheelchair accessible cottage offers all the comforts of home and all the amenities you will need for a pleasurable holiday. There are three bedrooms, one with a queen bed (main floor), one double bed (upstairs), and two single beds (upstairs) in the third bedroom. All bedding with duvets is provided.
The great-room on the main floor overlooks the ocean as do the two upstairs bedrooms.
There is an abundant water supply, a cozy woodstove and electric baseboard heaters. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes microwave and dishwasher.
The living room has cable TV, DVD player, CD player and telephone and wireless internet.
The larger of the two bathrooms contains a soaker tub, shower, washer and dryer. Bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Outside on the deck you will find the BarBQ and an outdoor shower. On the large lawn, picnic table and lawn chairs are provided.
The honeysuckle near the cottage attracts hummingbirds that will entertain you all day long.
A short gentle slope leads to the water where an endless supply of interesting tide pools is waiting to be explored at low tide. The beach is ideal for launching canoes and kayaks and other small craft. Explore the tide pools or help the kids or grandkids build a fantastic driftwood fort.
Watch the eagles dive to catch fish or land on the beach to chase the sea gulls away from a tasty morsel. You’ll see seals, sea lions and possibly even whales.
In summer you will enjoy the most spectacular sun and moonrises and the island’s famous sunsets.
This property and cottage will provide all the comforts of home while you are surrounded by peace and tranquility.
