A WILD BLUFF
Nestled among giant arbutus trees looking out over Tribune Bay, Wild Bluff welcomes guests year round.
This cliff top property is a private acre of natural forest lying between the golden sands of Tribune Bay Provincial Park and the magic of Helliwell Park. The land forms part of a protected, unspoiled 370 acres where walking trails lead through old fir, cedar and Garry Oak trees. At different times of year, foraging can offer up chanterelles, lobster mushrooms, nettles, blackberries and huckleberries. Venture a little further for oysters and clams for the table.
Wild Bluff sits 5 minutes drive from Whaling Station Beach and the Ringside Market where the Co-op, restaurants and artisan shops are found.
The split level cabin is divided into 3 areas.
The open plan living room, dining room and kitchen are on the main level.
Upstairs the large space is divided into two areas – a bedroom with 2 twins and a family room area.
Downstairs there are two queen size bedrooms. The front bedroom opens onto a covered deck overlooking the bay. The back bedroom looks onto the forest.
There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower instead of a bath.
Housekeeping
Because of the low water supply on the island and the steps we have to take, we ask guests to bring their own duvet covers, top and bottom sheets, pillow slips and towels.
The house has duvets, pillows and tea towels.
There are laundry facilities on the island at Joe King Ball Park.
