SING FOR JOY

Sing for Joy is a small group of brave and dedicated souls that have been meeting outside under shelter almost every week for the past two years. 90% of their material is from the Taizé community in France and the rest mostly from South Africa as well as some New Age chants. This summer visitors and residents alike are encourage to come and join them every Wednesday evening at 7:30, sharing in the glorious experience of singing in harmony. The name: “Sing for Joy” is borrowed from many other a capella choirs around the world that are inclusive and focussed on singing for the sheer joy of it (deep peace is another frequent by-product). To make the experience as accessible as possible songs and chants that are shared are short, repetitive and easy to pick up.
