Elspeth Armstrong

Elspeth focuses primarily on landscapes, especially BC’s varied coastal terrain: using colour and the play of light and shadow to express her joy of the richness around her. Fields of colour, deep blue waters and thick lush forests all lead you into something that feels familiar; the comfort of nature. Her paintings include the stillness of ponds, sun drenched fields of the interior and a whimsical hint of flowers. Her love of the Rocky Mountains and the East’s brilliant fall colours are evident in many of her paintings. It’s all about colour!
