This is a weekly rental from May through September, with the check in and check out date on a Friday. October through April the home is available for fully furnished rentals, by the month or 29+ day periods.
This newly renovated home sits on a treed half acre lot just up the hill from the ferry terminal on a quite dead end road. The home is open plan with beautiful sunset views from the deck. The lowest level of home, the “meadow” level, has a family room, bedroom and bathroom as well as access to the outside area. The top two floors sit in the trees and overlook the meadow and the grazing deer. The spacious deck has views of Denman and Vancouver Island. Each upper floor has its own bedroom and bathroom. The top floor is a private master suite with a king size bed and amazing new bathroom, complete with its own deck.
The second and third bedrooms have two single beds in each that can be separated for singles or put together for a king bed.
This property has an approved septic systems and is part of a local communal water supply. Water conservation is paramount during the summer months, as it is for all of Hornby Island. Drinking water is by a 5 gallon water dispenser.
Located right at the base of Mount Geoffrey, the property is perfectly located for mountain biking. You can swim at the nearby beach, and walk to the Thatch restaurant and pub.
The bus stop for the free Hornby Island Blue Bus is right at the bottom of the property and with it running every hour during the day, it is easy to get around the island without having to drive. The home has both indoor and outdoor games and has a gentle, sloping yard for the children to play.
This home does not permit pets and is a fully non smoking property.
