WELCOME TO THE BLUE DOOR COTTAGE
Come and relax behind the Blue Door, this three bedroom home is perfect for your family vacation on Hornby Island. The owners completely refurnished the home in the spring of 2017, giving it a warm and inviting feel. The blue and sand palette reflect its proximity to the ocean.
The home is located not far from Galleon Beach/Grassy Point with waterfront access close by. The Grassy Point area is a very quiet part of Hornby Island, yet centrally located. This makes it very easy to get to other parts of Hornby to enjoy the beaches, the mountain trails, the Co-op and Ringside market, the outdoor market and many of the artisan studios.
Blue Door has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and Texada Island.
This lovely home comes with:
- Two large decks
- Bedroom with King bed and Jack and Jill bathroom
- Bedroom with King bed on second level with ensuite bathroom
- Third bedroom with single bunk beds and a trundle
- Full kitchen
- BBQ
Please note there is:
- No tents, campers, trailers etc. permitted anywhere on the property.
- In keeping with water conservation on Hornby Island there are no linens provided. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, dishcloths.
- No smoking inside or outside anywhere on the property.
- The water supplied by well pumping into cistern.
NOTES:
- This home does not have Internet/Wi-Fi. The owner has applied to have the fiber optic internet installed but at this time cannot guarantee that it will be installed by the summer of 2024.
- This home does not permit pets.
Pricing
PRICING:
During the summer season, this is a weekly rental only with the check in and check out date on a Sunday.
High Season: $3000 per week.
Shoulder Season: $322 per night (minimum 3 night booking).
In the shoulder season shorter rentals (minimum 3 days stay) are considered. The shoulder season runs from May 1 to mid-June and after the September long weekend to the end of September. A cleaning fee of $200 will be added to any rental less than one week.

TAXES
Applicable taxes are not included in the price and will be added at the time of booking.
PAYMENT TERMS
50% payment is due at the time of booking.
Remaining balance due 60 days before arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier.
50% of paid prepayments are refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier.
0% refundable if cancelled after.
