There is a sense of peace when you enter Ayrebella, whether it’s a couples getaway or an extended family get together, you will relax, sit on the covered deck and enjoy the peace of our neighbourhood.
Walking to Sandpiper Beach takes about 5 minutes along the level, quiet street. The beach access has an excellent kayak launching site. Tribune Bay and the Co-op are within walking distance and the biking and hiking trails of Mount Jeffery are located about 0.5 km away. In May and June, the road is lined with wild roses, the sweet scent of the blossoms are just heaven. In July and August the area becomes the local hot spot for harvesting an abundant supply of wild blackberries.
The property has a drilled well which produces an excellent supply of water and a legal septic system. All our plumbing facilities are indoors. We do get good reception for cell phones on the property. We have wireless internet and do supply a TV, DVD/VHS player and a small variety of children’s and family videos for those rainy days or quiet evenings in both the cabin and the studio.
We hope that once you experience Ayrebella you will become part of our extended family and come back year after year. One thing for sure you will leave more relaxed and definitely rejuvenated. Situated on 0.8 of an acre, Ayrebella has an 1800 sq. ft. main cabin with three bedrooms, a living room, family room (with games/hobby area) and two full-size bathrooms. There is also a washer and dryer. The cabin is a perfect holiday getaway for an extended family.
Outside, there is an enclosed trampoline, badminton and many outdoor games available. There is also a BBQ, outdoor space and fire a pit.
There are no dogs permitted please. Our neighbourhood has both permanent residents and those who have owned their vacation homes for many years. We are a family friendly area where respect for our neighbours and our land in paramount.Hornby Island is a unique ecosystem, a gem in the sea. Conservation of natural resources, especially water, is very important. Recycling, reusing and composting are part of our way of life. While you visit, please do your part to support this fragile ecosystem.
